Airport Pickup & Temporary Housing for New Students

Whether you just need a ride to campus or need a host family for a few days, one of our volunteers can be at the airport when you arrive in Columbus. Your welcome will be warm when you see someone holding a sign with your name on it. They will welcome you and provide transportation to campus or your host home.

You can also stay with an American host family for up to 4 days while you make your campus housing arrangements. Enjoy a home setting and warm and caring friends. This can significantly help you in adjusting to living in a new culture. Breakfast and transportation from your host home to and from campus will be provided each day. For other meals, you may make arrangements with the family according to your schedule and theirs. There is no charge for this service.

It is no trouble for our American volunteers to meet you at the airport and to host you. However, it will be an inconvenience to your host if they arrive to meet you and find that you have made other arrangements and do not need their assistance. Kindly let us know if you decide to make other arrangements for your arrival and housing.
